The Statue of Liberty is a monumental Neoclassical statue that France gifted to the United States. It was inaugurated in 1886 and measures 305 feet in height (95 meters). It was designed by French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, but Gustave Eiffel constructed its metal framework (of Eiffel Tower fame). The highlight of this package is Ellis Island, which is spectacular to see up close and as large as you might expect.
